Concrete Foreman Job Summary

A Foreman is a top supervisory role for locations such as construction sites. With their industry experience and formal training, they are able to direct, supervise and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site. In addition to ensuring that safety rules are followed on the site at all times. They develop work schedules for their crew members based on employee and contractor availability, and current project needs and supervise the use of machinery. In some cases, they may need to train crew members on safe equipment use. The experienced Concrete Foreman is part of our team, and lead construction crews in the completion of various major concrete projects. The ideal candidate has considerable professional experience in construction, particularly with concrete projects, and must also possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

• This is a Direct Hire position starting for the employer on day one and eligible for benefits

• HOURS: 50 Hrs/Wk during peak construction season, with 1.5 OT over 40hrs

• PAY RANGE: $28-$32/HR DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
• Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members
• Training, managing and mentoring employees
• Providing adequate resources to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
• Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures
• Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
• Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials

MUST HAVES:

• Construction Experience
• Supervisory Experience
• Experience with concrete projects
• Must possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train crew members
• Construction safety knowledge and experience
