Job description

This full-time position duties include, but are not limited to, reading and understanding construction site blueprints, use Agtek take-offs and interpret data, survey job sites by flying the drone, computer data analysis. Prepare data for entry into estimating software. Works closely with house survey departments to evaluate earthwork as jobs progresses. Will solicit subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure quotes are complete and compliant, entered into HCSS software, track and follow up on quotes. Other tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

 Proactive, flexible, team player who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

 Prepare and develop capital cost estimates.

 Participate in project economic evaluations, and offer value engineering ideas.

 Assist in other areas required to deliver a quality product on schedule and on budget.

 Previous work as an estimator.

 Highly motivated, self-starter

 Organized, with excellent time management skills

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Able to multitask

 Able to accept coaching and feedback

 Forward-looking, able to see the problem well in advance, having a solution in place before a crisis

 Responsible for accurate and timely estimating and management of assigned projects. Projects are bid with accurate pricing, scope, specification, and production rates.

 Manages jobs according to schedule, on budget, and at or above bid-day gross profit margin.

 Scope of Work is completed to the Company standard of quality and professionalism.

 Experience with HCSS estimating software is a plus.

 Drone pilot’s license is a plus.

 Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 Able to adhere to core department hours 7am-6pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,496.00 - $68,677.00 per year
