ASRC Federal is expanding our US Department of Agricultural portfolio and has opportunities nationwide. Experience with government contracting, specifically in "rural development" is strongly desired. ASRC Federal is seeking a strong Construction Analyst I to help support a USDA contract focusing on loans and grants. This ideal candidate will have experience in engineering, construction management or related field.

Location: Remote (ability to travel if necessary)

Clearance: Must be able to pass a government issued background check

Responsibilities:

• Conducts construction monitoring by attending, in most cases virtually, monthly payment application meetings.
• Construction analyst also receives, reviews, and recommends approval or denial for any change order and payment application requests throughout construction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; one (1) year of experience in construction management with High School diploma/GED.
• Must possess a knowledge of basic construction means and methods, including building codes and regulations.
• Must be able to pass a government issued background check.
• Attention to detail, especially when reviewing applications
• Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with all levels of professionals.
• Effective communication skills; strong written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience supporting government contracts or federal work experience
• Experience supporting USDA and/or rural development
• Be able to travel if necessary.
