Description & Requirements
Responsibilities
Review, vet and process requests for conflicts searches- Perform corporate research and conflicts checks to generate conflicts reports
- Work closely with the General Counsel’s Office on lateral hire and new business intake conflicts assignments
- Review conflict database details to prepare general conflicts summaries for firm lawyers and General Counsel’s Office
- Interact with attorneys and firm personnel to discuss conflicts data and potential action items
- Prepare conflicts documentation relating to conflict queries
- Maintain conflicts database to record and update all conflict related activities
- Follow best practices and stay current with process improvements
- Work on other conflicts related projects as required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and three years of related experience and/or training- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily, with attention to detail
- Excellent client service is expected. Strong oral and written communication skills required
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Communicate and share information effectively, accurately, promptly, and with good judgment
- Able to manage multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities
- Punctuality and satisfactory attendance is imperative
- Willing to work overtime as needed
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of various types of technology, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Working knowledge of and experience with Intapp intake/conflicts software a plus.
