    CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEE - CLASS 3 - EMPLOYEE SERVICES DEPARTMENT
    Full Time 260 days/8 hrs/day

    Provide clerical and customer service support to the recruitment and retention activities of the Employee Services Department:

    Duties:
    • Front desk receptionist, answer department main phone line: gather information to transfer phone calls to department staff.
    • Communicate with applicants to provide information on employment opportunities and next steps in the recruitment and selection process.
    • Follow-up with candidates via email and phone; provide assistance, information, and guidance in the application and/or selection process.
    • Maintain employment promotions on various platforms including Indeed, Linked In, Hand Shake, and Facebook.
    • Assist with recruitment events and job fairs, virtual and/or potential future in-person events.
    • Assist Recruitment & Retention Specialist with projects and grant funded programs, such as Grow Your Own, including attending meetings.
    • Manage student teacher placement process.
    • Distribute exit interview materials by contacting employees via phone and/or email, who leave the district.
    • Work with Employee Services Department staff to provide excellent customer service.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to deal routinely with confidential information. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling employee information. Strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a professional and timely manner. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and work cooperatively with department staff and others. Treat all with dignity and respect. Proficient with Microsoft Office software especially Word, Excel, Access, Google and Google Docs. Ability to work under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Ability to perform position responsibilities. Must be physically working in the building.

    Preferred Qualifications: Strong customer service skills, ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations preferred. Ability to manage many tasks with frequent interruptions preferred. Experience or degree in Human Resources (recruitment) or Marketing preferred. Experience utilizing Indeed, Linked In, and Facebook as a recruitment tool preferred. Experience assisting with in-person or virtual recruitment events preferred. Experience working in a school district or educational setting a plus but not required. Ability to be flexible with the schedule to meet the needs of the position (occasional evening events/meetings) preferred.

    Rate of Pay: $1,787 bi-weekly ($22.31 per hour, $23.31 per hour with an AA degree, $23.81 per hour with a BA degree.). Excellent benefits package.
