JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you looking for stability while earning a great living in the paving industry?

We are currently looking for an Experienced Concrete Foreman to join our team. The Concrete Foreman directs activities of concrete construction projects and oversees a team to ensure work is completed safely and to the highest quality.

The ideal candidate must be an expert when it comes to concrete and has a proven track record of effectively overseeing a team of laborers.

This is a demanding job which requires someone with dedication to ensure timely and quality paving projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate construction tasks according to priorities and plans
• Monitor attendance, morale & skill sets of crew
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities
• Supervise and train workers/tradespeople
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met and maintained
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress to managers, engineers, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have prior working experience with concrete
• Ability to read Engineering Plans preferred
• Highly effective communication skills both written and oral
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License and be legally eligible to work in the US
• Dependable and able to demonstrate the ability to manage a crew effectively
• Must be adaptable/flexible and able to handle frequent changes on the job
• Effective collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team environment
