Compliance PMO Lead

As a Barclays Compliance PMO Lead, you will be responsible for managing the Compliance PMO function and strategy. As part of your role, you will support Compliance PMOs and have governance ownership for a set of projects and will work closely with the PMs to deliver to the Execution Risk Governance Standard (ERGS) and Change Delivery Controls Standard (CDCS), reducing execution risk for the firm.

What will you be doing?

• Managing Compliance PMOs and providing guidance
• Supporting Compliance PMO strategy by being a thought leader and implementing change
• Partnering with PMs on governance requirements, including the completion of outlined business plans (OBCs), detailed business plans (DBCs), and control self-assessments
• Establishing and maintaining governance council meetings; and collaborating with senior leadership to set agenda, producing meeting materials, and taking minutes
• Being the subject matter expert (SME) on projects covered in partnership with PMs, including financials and delivery requirements
• Training PMs on new governance standards and implementing new processes
• Performing controls testing and participate in audits as needed
• Driving and promoting a governance culture throughout the organization, and presenting and escalating governance issues and driving remediation

What we’re looking for:

• Any Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in a financial services firm
• Experience in technology project management space
• Previous experience directly managing individuals
