If so, nice to meet you! Mitsubishi Chemical Group is seeking Compliance Case Manager to join a team committed to excellence, continuous improvement and driving sustainable business results. The Compliance Case Manager is responsible to ensure all cases are opened, communicated, well-documented, reported appropriately to key stakeholders and that the investigation process is managed accurately and efficiently, including ensuring that corrective action is documented and accomplished or escalated. The successful candidate will continually analyze the reporting process lifecycle to identify and implement process efficiencies to support thorough and prompt case resolution/closure. What You Will Do...

  • Track and manage coordination of matters reported to the Compliance Office through the hotline and other reporting channels in a timely, effective, and efficient manner
  • Support data entry and documentation collection to effectively manage investigations from opening to closure
  • Monitor/review case progress and support documentation of case closures in line with the company’s commitment to promptly and effectively, remediate issues and continually improve this component of its Compliance Program
  • Develop and generate reports around case metrics in a timely manner for monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc needs
  • Analyze data and create meaningful reports summarizing matters reported over periods of time by business units, topic(s), status, time to resolution/closure, result, or other elements as may be significant to the Chief Compliance Officer or Executive Leadership
  • Create Executive Summary reports from underlying data matrices or sources (e.g., excel files) to support the Chief Compliance Officer communications to the Regional Leadership Team, the Board(s) of Directors, the Global Internal Control and Compliance Promotion Departments, and other key stakeholders.
  • Analyze and evaluate compliance matters reported for business lines to help identify trends to support the continued improvement of the MCGA Compliance Program
  • Ensure all cases are well-documented and consistently follow MCGA’s investigation approach and documentation methodology
  • Support identification of process efficiencies within the investigation case management lifecycle
  • Support and/or coordinate follow-up activities related to investigations
  • Performs related administrative or other duties as required.
  • Exercises discretion on assigned projects and day-to-day operations, safeguarding confidential and other sensitive information.

What You Will Have...

  • Minimum BS/BA degree Preferred OR in Lieu of Degree, an additional 4 years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience in law, regulatory compliance, or internal investigations in a matrix organization
  • Experience working with a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing compliance program a plus
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment is a plus
  • Strong computer skills (e.g., Database management, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other software)
  • General knowledge and understanding of compliance investigation related practices and methodologies
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, such as within a Compliance team and proven experience of ensuring own/others compliance with relevant company processes
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills; capable of working with all levels of internal and external staff including external counsel
  • Excellent writing skills; communicates clearly and professionally in email, reports, meeting minutes and other documents
  • Highly detail-oriented - thorough attention to detail a must
  • Strong organizational and administrative skill set
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)
The salary range for this position is $70,200- $105,360. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
