Community Liaison – Home Care Sales


OVERVIEW:

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking a self-motivated individual for an external marketing position. Primary responsibility is to build and enhance our relationships with other providers of health care and senior care services in the communities we serve, driving client referrals and growth in business. The ideal candidate will come to the table with existing contacts and relationships that can readily be leveraged into sources of referral business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and executing a business development plan with weekly reporting and tracking
  • Calling upon community referral partners (social workers, case manager, directors of nursing, discharge planners, private care managers, fiduciaries, etc.) to develop mutually beneficial referral relationships
  • Making presentations to community groups and referral partners to promote the value of our business and our industry to the health care and senior care community
  • Generating and closing leads for private duty home care services

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven relationships in the healthcare and senior care community
  • Experience with geriatric care needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Take-charge individual who is comfortable working with autonomy to meet and exceed goals
  • Ability to build relationships leading to business growth
  • Familiarity with and tolerance for cold-calling

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Base salary with commission/bonus incentive linked to performance. Company car and expense account provided. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability and others.
