Ketjen Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle Corporation, is seeking a highly motivated Communications Specialist to support our communications efforts. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. teams. This position will be based in our office in Clear Lake, TX.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage and execute projects as assigned by the Sr. Director of Communications

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure website and intranet content is up-to-date and visually appealing.

Assist with the development of engaging content for employee communication channels, as well as the company’s intranet, internet, and social media channels.

Assist with the development and distribution of the monthly employee newsletter.

Assist with the company’s branding and advertising efforts.

Plan and execute company events including meetings and community events.

Manage and organize Ketjen’s creative assets.

Take part in brainstorming sessions and suggest innovative ideas.

Conduct media monitoring and competitor research.
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications related field is preferred but not required.

4-8 years of prior work experience is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.
-
Event management experience.
-
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience using website CMS platforms.

Proficient in Microsoft office suite tools.
