Seeking Commercial Retail Accounting Manager!

**Hybrid Work Schedule**

· Hybrid (M, T, and Th in office)

Responsibilities

• Review monthly property financial reporting packages. Including a review of ledger detail, adjusting journal entries and subsidiary ledger to general ledger reconciliations
• Review supporting work papers including Property Fixed Asset schedules
• Review supporting work papers including straight-line rent and direct recovery accruals
• Work with Property Managers in preparation of monthly variance reports and recovery reconciliations/billings
• Review general ledger reconciliations and cam/tax reconciliations
• Review of new lease abstracts and related changes
• Respond and provide support for accounting related inquiries from clients, lenders, and other external & internal parties
• Provide support to external auditors and tax preparers
• Review budgets and reforecasts
• Assist with some portfolio wide accounting entries and accruals
• Assist with job cost report and review of remaining capital spend
• Oversee the performance of a team of property accountants

Desired Skillsets & Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting; CPA preferred
• 5+ years Commercial Real Estate Accounting experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and work independently
• Self-starter who can manage a broad range of responsibilities
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with expert knowledge of Excel.
• Proficient with MS Office software and Yardi Voyager.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
