Progressive Quality Care is currently seeking a highly motivated Full time corporate collections specialist to join our team. Qualified candidate must be a team player, possess the ability to work independently and have a minimum of 2 years of experience working within the scope of collections and possess the understanding of the revenue cycle process. Knowledge of Long Term Care billing is a plus. Our corporate office currently located in Lyndhurst, OH.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Intake and management of corporate collection accounts for multiple nursing facilities
· Ensure outstanding accounts are addressed in accordance with Corporate Collections Policy
· Monitor & maintain accurate log of all collection accounts, dates of service and status
· Locate & Contact responsible parties
· Negotiate payment settlements and process Demand letters
· Attend Monthly A/R Agings
· Attend court as needed as company representative
· Refer, track and follow up on accounts that go to outside counsel.
· File claims on Estate
· Accountable for reducing delinquency of outstanding private pay accounts
Compensation negotiation based upon experience.
