Duties:
- Performing detailed research and verifying the accuracy of information
- Coordinating problem resolution for assessments and returns
- Performing financial analysis for levies, payment plans, etc.
- Collecting unpaid taxes, interest, penalties, and delinquent returns
- Establishing ability to pay and negotiating payment plans
- Processing offers and compromise requests, making recommendations and sending responses
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience (finance, accounting, or tax collection)
- Strong customer service, communication, and negotiating skills
- Financial analysis and debt collection experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain patience and understanding
