Job Title: CNC Machinist, 3rd Shift

Shift Hours: 11:00pm-7:30am, Monday - Friday

Zeda services include 4&5 axis machining, metal & polymer additive manufacturing, and a variety of other manufacturing processes used across a wide range of industries including: Aerospace, Medical, and Defense.

Position Description:

Zeda has Machinists positions for all shifts in its machining department. Qualified candidates will have experience running parts across mills and/or lathes. Experience programming offline or at the machine is plus.

Core Responsibilities: Be a Machining Professional
Other duties may be assigned.

• Machine Setup: Follow set-up sheets to load jobs. Be able to set and load tools, load programs, establish offsets, locate fixtures, and load parts etc, or communicate these needs to co-workers.
• Process parts across multiple CNC machines: Operate mills, lathes, EDMs, etc.
• In-Process Inspection: Measuring parts and fixtures as required.
• Documentation: Filling out the proper paperwork including job travelers, inspections forms and other records, in addition to data collection via ERP/MES.
• Programming / modification: Whether offline or at the machine, modify and or create programs for CNC equipment
• Mentor: Educate and train less-experienced machinists and apprentices, if applicable
• Safety: Promote safe operating conditions
• Support: Innovation, business objectives, and the company’s positive culture

Qualifications:

• Ability to set-up and machine complex parts, 3 years of experience preferred
• Special consideration given to those with:

- Programming skills- Tool & die, casting machining, and/or medical industry experience
