Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Assisted Living and Long Term Care all shifts full and part time

Sign on Bonus $4,000 for specific departments with one year commitment.

Summary: As a CMA (Certified Medication Aide) at this facility, you will be a part of maintaining a happy and healthy experience for the residents/patients. You will be delivering medication and care which will ensure that patients' and residents’ needs are met in accordance with professional standards, facility policies, federal and state guidelines. The CMA is to assist in the administering of medications to patients and or residents under the direction of the attending physician ordering the medication, nurse supervisor, or the Director of Nursing Services. We offer a good benefit package and you start to accrue sick and vacation time, day one if full time. Accrue 96.2 hours sick and 80.6 hours vacation that roll over to the next year if not used.

Qualifications:

1. Must be certified by the state of Texas as a Certified Medication Aide and maintain without lapse.
2. Must be a Certified Nurse Aide & maintain certification without lapse.
3. Requires current CPR or within 30 days of hire and must maintain without lapse.
4. Prior clinical experience preferred.
5. Must be able to write legibly.
6. Must be of good physical and mental health.
7. Good assessment and observation skills.
8. Possess adequate speech and hearing to communicate well.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
