When you are the Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Oncology unit, you will be collaborating with the director to lead a team of amazing medical professionals. This is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level!

What you should expect to do in this role:

• You will exemplify professional nursing practice through expert clinical practice, strong leadership skills, and management activities.
• You will provide clinical management to the department through coordination of patient care activities, procedures and flow of patients between various units.
• You will be delegating duties to staff members within their scope of practice, and acts as a resource for clinical or communication issues to other staff.
• You will be taking patient assignments when necessary.
• You will need to have budgetary commitment to the staffing matrix.
• You will be involved with staff performance appraisals; development of unit policy and procedures; and committed to uphold Sky Ridge Standards of Behavior
• You will be functioning in the Chair-of-Command, continuing the chain upward when situation cannot be resolved at CNC level.
• You will facilitate growth and development, empowerment of personnel by functioning as a leader, resource person, and counselor

What qualifications you will need for this role:

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact license
• Current BLS, American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required
• Bachelor Science Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hire required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience required
• Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
