Clinical /Business Analyst opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health (MDMH) is seeking candidates to fill a Clinical/Business Analyst (also known as a Clinical Informatics Specialist) position. This position oversees and facilitates development, implementation, support and evaluation of Clinical information systems (Electronic Medical Record Systems) at MDMH. Works effectively through all phases of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) from an organizational perspective to ensure the development of information systems that meet organizational requirements. Works closely with nursing, providers, Information Technology and MDMH Leadership and functions as a liaison, developing requirements, coordinating system implementation and maintenance for MDMH personnel using appropriate information system applications. Assists in developing / modifying policies and procedures impacted by information systems.
This position includes on-call requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor or Master’s Degree (must complete within 2 years of hire) in Medical field (RN preferred) or related field.
• Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: Licensing appropriate for assigned area preferred.
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Customer focus required with excellent communication skills. Requires strong analytical, statistical skills and interpretive abilities to analyze data and make recommendations for improvements or changes. Requires the ability to understand concepts related to information system applications, networks, and interfaces. Requires the ability to act independently and complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision, professional demeanor and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with system users, physicians, MDMHC leadership, and vendors. Ability to communicate in English; both verbally and in writing. MS Office expertise required.
• Experience: 3 – 5 years’ experience implementing and/or supporting information systems (Electronic Medical Records Systems) required. Cerner EHR experience preferred.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
