Overview:
Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for a Clinical Coordinator in our in Prescott Valley Location.
The Clinical Coordinator will be the family’s primary point of contact and will provide comprehensive care to address the presenting behavioral health needs. We specialize in partnering with families to build effective relationships and to inspire hope for a positive future. This is a not supervisory position, and involves working directly with children and families. Majority of time is spent in homes and the community rather than in an office setting. This position will also participate on a on call rotation.
Responsibilities:
  • This position involves case management and communication with agency partners to promote youth and community members’ resiliency through the transition into a less restrictive environment.
  • Collaborating with family, team members to create support plans that accurately capture the strengths, needs and culture of the family.
  • Facilitating CFT meetings (establishing an agenda, setting and maintaining a strength based meeting environment, staying within timeframes, giving all team participants the opportunity to contribute, holding people accountable for their commitments and the ability to assist a team in developing a consensus) for children and families.
  • Assisting young people and families in securing needed community resources and linkages to other services. Helping families to identify natural and informal supports.
  • Interacting professionally with other stakeholders Division of Child Safety (DCS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), juvenile probation, Direct Service Providers (DSP), etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be 21 years or older.
  • Minimum of four years related work experience or Related Bachelor's degree.
  • Reliable transportation is required, including proof of insurance, a vehicle safety check and an acceptable driving record.
  • Supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates are required to submit a negative substance abuse test, be able to obtain fingerprint and criminal history background clearance, and clear the Central Registry Check Reports of child abuse and neglect. CPR, First Aid, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention are required trainings that are provided by the agency.
  • Must be BHT with two (2) years of related behavioral health work experience or related bachelor’s degree. Child and Family Counselor: Master's degree/Licensure preferred
  • Compensation: DOE
