The Orenda Center of Wellness is excited to announce the upcoming launch of its newest residential substance abuse treatment facility exclusively for men located in the serene countryside of Buckeystown, Maryland. We are a fun energetic company doing our part to fight the battle against addiction and mental health stigma. This position will be responsible for facilitating the residents current and future case management needs as well as and formulating their aftercare planning. This role will require strong documentation, communication and resourcing skills. A clinical team approach along with the ability to handle a large caseload will be necessary. The preferred applicant should have a minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience working in the administrative and/or case management departments of addictions treatment and/or behavioral health services. The experience with and ability to prioritize situations and multi-task will be indispensable for this role. Harnessing and developing relationships with outside agencies and new referral sources will be required as the new facility grows. Expanding upon services we are able to offer and assist our clientele with will be desired.


It is preferred that this role has an ADT level addictions counseling certification to be available and able to assist with group facilitation and/or clinical services as needed.

  • Testing & exposure reporting conducted by medical as needed and/or by request.
  • Sanitation of all common areas performed daily.

Minimum Requirement:

  • 1–3-year experience in the field of addiction and/or behavioral health services
  • Associates degree - Bachelors preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with clinical documentation and HIPAA policy adherence
  • Ability to work in a clinical team setting.
  • Being compassionate and understanding with ability to adapt to the specific needs of each individual client
  • ADT accredited Maryland Counseling Certification - Preferred not required.

Employment Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a local and national background check
    • not be currently on parole or probation or within last 90 days
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
    • Drug free work environment with random drug screening performed throughout employment
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certified
  • Able to provide 3 professional refences for vetting and review

Position Offering:

  • competitive pay rates range $18 to $22
  • Mon thru Fri work week 8:30a to 4:30p
