Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Clerk at the Dallas County Medical Center.

The busy clinic serves the community by providing a continuum of care.

A typical day will include: Assisting in scheduling, Handles telephone routing to appropriate person including making patient appointments per appropriate guidelines set forth by Provider/Clinic manager, answering inquiries relating to services and fees, simple insurance inquiries and screen emergencies. Providing detailed messages, processing of forms, scanning, updating appropriate consent forms, updating insurance coverage, updating demographics, maintaining organization, and completing open and closing procedures. Communication with providers, and nursing staff. Responsible for exiting the patient in a courteous and pleasant manner and assist them with any questions or problems they have prior to leaving the clinic.

The position is PRN, covering Fridays and any sickness or vacation
