Custodial / Cleaning Person Needed

Position Summary:

Busy privately-owned physical therapy practice in Panama City Beach is seeking a custodial staff person to oversee, perform and maintain all cleaning and custodial needs. This individual would be required to clean to professional standards as well as various additional cleaning projects, maintenance requests or other upkeep as needs arise.

Essential Functions:

Include but not limited to...

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, CDC, state/local, federal, and company regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment
• Properly cleans and maintains multiple areas as assigned.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel
• Frequently removes dusts and debris from high and low surfaces
• Regularly cleans and sanitizes the restrooms, kitchen, clinic and office areas.
• Regularly vacuums, sweeps, mops and dusts.
• Industrial (Deep) Cleaning to include high dusting, and cleaning main thoroughfares and high-traffic areas inside and outside of Clinic Entrances.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial experience is required. Custodial experience in a healthcare environment is a plus!
• The ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to climb stairs as needed.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to provide previous work references.

Regular cleaning functions will typically be performed outside of regular office hours. (I.e. Prior to 7am and / or Evenings after 5pm, Weekends) This individual must be able to perform tasks to the satisfaction of management without oversight, and work efficiently and thoroughly. This individual must be reliable, dependable and trustworthy.
