Cleaning and Janitorial Supervisor Full Time
Job description
Summit Building Services is looking for an experienced supervisor to grow with our team. You'd be working 30-40 hours a week after 5 pm. Starting pay rate is $19.00 per hour and includes PTO, health insurance, mileage reimbursement, and bonus opportunities.
If you have experience in housekeeping, environmental services, commercial cleaning, or janitorial services we encourage you to apply!
You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to pass drug tests and background checks.

- Work with employees to handle all client requests or complaints promptly
- Supervise, train, motivate and develop team members
- Work with HR to ensure all jobs are properly staffed and trained
- Arrange for coverage in the event of an employee absence
- Disciplinary action and/ or termination of employees when necessary
- Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure that specifications are being met
- Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary
- Complete work tickets
- Send reports to Area Manager
- Recommendation of special project work when needed
- Complete ongoing education to gain competency in their position
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities by the company’s policies and applicable laws.
