Green Mountain Sprouts Cleaner

Position: Cleaning/ Housekeeping

Division of GMBC: Green Mountain Sprouts

Employment Status: Part-time, up to 2 hours per day Monday through Friday (10-12 hours per week) Hours must be performed outside of client service hours (before 7:30 AM or after 3:30 PM)

Reports to: Christy Hoffmann - Director of Green Mountain Sprouts

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

• General cleaning duties, following a specific daily checklist generated (for each room) and provided by GM Sprouts; including but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting and sanitizing all rooms, bathrooms and toys.
• Daily trash removal and restock of materials used through-out the day such as toilet paper, paper towels, and gloves (key is in the reception desk-not labeled).
• Responsible for shutting all windows, locking doors, arming the system when leaving and maintaining cleanliness of vestibule (fill out checklist at the end of shift).
• Adherence to COVID specific policies about cleaning and protective equipment (policies provided)
• Be sure to communicate in advance about needed time off with the GM Sprouts director.

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable, thorough, have attention to detail and communicate clearly in a timely manner.
• Must attain a good attendance record and pass a fingerprint and background check.
• Must adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality for clients that attend programming.
• Staff will NOT share the entry passcode or key with anyone and will not allow anyone else into the building when he/she/they are cleaning.
• Must be able to read and understand cleaning regulations that we strive to abide by, including specific considerations to prevent and reduce exposure to illnesses.
• Must be willing to work with cleaning supplies provided (bleach, windex, lysol, etc)

Other:

• No overtime will be accrued to complete cleaning duties
• Please be mindful of the amount of bleach utilized as some staff are highly allergic. A specific bleach to water ratio should be utilized and a deep clean should be completed every Friday.
• Generic Lysol cannot be utilized as staff are highly allergic to the scent.
• Staff can utilize their own cleaning supplies, however, GM Sprouts will also supply any additional supplies such as disinfectant, mops, cleaners, vacuums, toilet bowl brushes, or dust mops.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
