Microwave Techniques is searching for a person to work in the Clean Room Assembly department in our Gorham Maine location!

What will you do in this role?

• Clean and assemble a wide range of components in preparation for brazing in a clean room environment (coverings for clothing, shoes and hair must be worn).
• Work with components which are designed with tight tolerances to facilitate successful brazing, on occasion components must be “file fit”.
• Read mechanical drawings as a guide in assembling the parts.
• Follow cleaning and assembly procedures to maintain high first pass yield of brazed assemblies.
• Work with assembly fixturing, including communication with engineering and machinists to improve or develop fixturing techniques.
• Perform continual monitoring of clean room environment including quality of mild cleaning chemicals.
• Training will be provided for operation of equipment such as vacuum ovens, helium leak detectors and other test equipment.

The shift available in Gorham, Maine is Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.
