Looking for class A driver with port experience (Must have TWIC Card)
Responsibilities:
- Pick-up/drop loads from/to Georgia port to various customers within a 250 miles radius of Savannah.
- Yard to yard delivery to the client and to our warehouse.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Requirements:
- Have a class A commercial driver's license for a minimum of 2 years.
- Have TWIC card and port experience
- No recent moving or driving violations (Good driving record)
- Pass drug and alcohol test
- Able to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Able to fix/repair minor tractor/trailer issues (change hoses, fuses, mud flaps, etc.)
