ACRT Services
is seeking to add a Civil Engineer to our team of highly respected engineers and scientists at our headquarters in Stow, Ohio. Our ideal candidate will take an active role in a fast-paced, multifaceted area of environmental restoration design.

This position will be accountable for:
  • Completing due diligence for engineering projects to ensure planning, development, and construction are following all applicable city/state/federal codes and regulations.
  • Preparation of designs, models, plans, and calculations under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Understanding and applying regulations to develop project designs and permits.
  • Collaborate with the project team throughout design and plan development.
  • Supports report preparation, site reconnaissance, and communications with the project team.
  • Performing work in accordance with budget and schedule.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and project managers and providing status reports on project tasks and deliverables.

Qualifications:
  • Having a strong desire to improve the environment while working as a client advocate is at the core of what we do. The ideal candidate for this position would be a design-minded, environmentally-focused individual with the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental engineering is required.
  • Must have 2+ years of engineering experience. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) required.
  • Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil engineering-related projects including stormwater and grading.
  • Experience with site civil design, erosion control, and stormwater design.
  • Understanding of open channel hydraulics and site hydrology.
  • Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects; accountability for critical work products and deadlines.
