POSITION OVERVIEW:
The New York City Football Club is looking to hire
part-time community soccer coaches for In/After school, Saturday Night Lights, and STEM programming. Coaches will provide youth (Ages 7-24) health and wellness education and expert soccer training.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Provide youth soccer coaching through In/After School programs, deliver programming guided by CITC’s health and wellness curriculum, and if interested, deliver sport-themed STEM training to youth (ages 14- 24)
WHAT YOU BRING:
- At least 2 years of experience in sports-based youth development
- Coaching Licenses (USSF/USC or foreign equivalent preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on programmatic requirement
- Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and data- management skills
- Age 18 or over

COMPENSATION:
This position has a range of $25.00 to $55.00 per hour. Compensation is commensurate with experience and coaching qualification. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all our initial calls.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and any other applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFC
- Must be able to work games scheduled which may be at night and on weekends and holidays
- New York City Football Club requires a COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment, subject to exception under applicable law
