Job description
PeopleMark is looking for an Circuit Board Technician who will be responsible for various tasks that will include, soldering, repairs, assembly, and inspection of circuit boards. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of circuit boards.
SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Have at least 2 years hands-on experience with inspecting, soldering, and performing minor repairs of printed circuit boards (PCB)
- Quick learner; able to quickly understand appropriate work processes
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work well within a team environment; display professional behavior at all times
- Reliable and model strong work ethics; able to demonstrate reliable attendance record and have flexibility to meet production requirements
- Occasionally lift no more than 50 lbs
- Must have good attention to detail
- Have familiarity and /or certification with IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001
- Have a working knowledge of electro-static discharge (ESD) procedures and practices
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspecting quality of assembled printed circuits; perform rework or re-assemble units as needed
- Assemble parts, including PCBs, to form complete units or sub-assemblies
- Utilize hand tools such as soldering iron and component extraction tools to perform assigned tasks
- Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
- May be asked to assist in the inspection and installation or pre-made harnesses
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working in a diverse and fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- IPC Certification or training equivalence
