Job description

Local church in need of a General custodian. Main responsibility will be maintaining the cleanliness of the church and our Family Life Center. You will also be responsible for handling or scheduling minor maintenance and repair work. Custodial work includes duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, waxing and buffing tile floors, cleaning restrooms, etc. Custodian will also order janitorial supplies. Minor maintenance includes items such as checking/replacing HVAC filters, indoor and outdoor lighting (change bulbs), water system monitoring, smoke detectors and painting and general repairs.

Candidates must have physical stamina/capabilities to handle a moderately demanding work load.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Custodial or related: 1 year (Preferred)
