Full-time Chiropractic Medical Assistant NEEDED in downtown DC clinic ($20-$25/hr)

Looking for a motivated medical assistant who will handle medical assisting duties and administrative tasks. Our clinic is conveniently located in downtown Washington, DC directly off L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station near SW Wharf. Garage parking is available if you drive. Must be able to commit 40 hours a week.

Recent graduates, gap-year students, pre-meds, pre-chiro are encouraged to apply.

Benefits: Competitive salary of $20-25/hr depending on prior experience and work performance. After 30 days you will be considered for additional bonuses based on performance, and ability to receive raises rapidly every month depending on efficiency and work-load management. As you are able to multi-task and assume more responsibilities around the clinic, your salary will increase to compensate. Complimentary chiropractic and acupuncture care will be offered to you and immediate family members. Work schedule is flexible with advanced notification of your schedule. Continuing education is provided, professional and career development opportunities available. Bonus structure will be included, more details offered at interview. Paid weekly.

Full- time hours consist of 30-40 hours per week with paid overtime. Clinical duties include preparing treatment rooms, setting up rehab therapies, scribing, and assisting doctor with tasks. Administrative duties include collecting payments, answering calls and emails, and insurance. No prior experience or medical knowledge is needed. All job duties and responsibilities will be taught on the job with a paid week of training and shadowing. The current staff as well as the doctor will on board and train you until you are comfortable completing job duties alone.

Ideal Candidate

• Motivated health professional who will handle medical assisting and administrative duties. Must be friendly and respectful to patients
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in basic technological skills such as Gmail, Microsoft Word, social media, navigating online insurance verification portals, setting up devices
• Reside in the DMV area and ability to commute easily (our clinic is located in downtown Washington DC directly off L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station and garage parking available)
• Ability to speak Spanish or Mandarin is a plus
