Job description
Under the direction and supervision of the Farmington Family YMCA Summer Camp Program Director, the Educational or Traditional Camp Assistant will be responsible for the general supervision and management of the program, as well as assisting the child’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development. The Educational Camp is held for 8 weeks during the Summer at a local elementary school in Farmington Hills. The Traditional Camp is held from June-August at the Farmington Family YMCA Branch.
Interviews are currently being held for the following positions:
- 25 hours per wk, Traditional/Educational Camp Before/Aftercare (M-F, 6:30am-8:30am/3p-6p)
- 40 hours per wk, Traditional/Educational Camp Counselors (M-F, 8:30am-4:30pm)
This position can also extend through the School Year with the Y Learning Center Before/Aftercare program.
