Summary
APPLE Academy is seeking a dependable Child Care Assistant for our Toddler/Preschool classrooms. Employees must be committed to making the center successful and understand that creating meaningful relationships with children, families and their co-workers is crucial to the success of our daily operations. Candidate must have a great love and patience for children, be a team player and work to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Duties
Assisting in Toddler/Preschool classrooms. Changing diapers/assisting with toileting. Problem solving - providing redirection as needed. Assisting with meals/lunches/snacks. Providing a safe, nurturing environment. Reading, singing, playing and interacting with children on their level.

Requirements
- Willing to be prompt and dependable
- Willing to be flexible
- Have reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- Must have patience and a love for children.
- Willing to work part-time (average 25-34 hours per week).
- Must have afternoon availability (12:30-5:45 pm)

- Previous experience helpful
- Having occasional morning availability is helpful (center is open from 7:20 am-5:45 pm)
