Child Care Aide, 12 Months
Various Elementary Schools
Monday – Friday
Split Shift – 4 hours per day: Approximately 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Straight shifts for summer/school closures (flexible for education or other employment)
Responsibilities:
● Supervising children
● Greeting parents upon arrival/departure
● Assisting in planning and implementing activities
● Maintaining a healthy and safe environment for children
● Staff members must follow professional development guidelines for Department of Human Services and Keystone Stars compliance
Qualifications:
● 2,500 hours of experience with children preferred
● High School diploma or GED
● College credits in Early Childhood Education or Human Services Fieldpreferred
● ECE credits to meet licensing and Keystone STARS requirements preferred
● Two letters of reference verifying experience working with children
Clearance Requirements:
● Criminal Check, Child Abuse, DHS FBI, NSOR
Starting Rate: $13.68 per hour
