Job Summary and Qualifications

s the Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be an active member of the surgical team in the Operating Room.

You will function under the direct supervision of the OR nurse.

You will be responsible for assisting the OR nurse in assessing the needs of the patients, infancy through life span, and for organizing and planning care sufficient to meet identified needs during the intra-operative phase, by performing technical duties as assigned.

Your role supports hospital mission, values and visions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program or equivalent training
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Surgical Tech students may be hired prior to graduation (within 3 months of graduation). Failure to complete graduation requirements can result in termination of the position.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
