STSURGICAL TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION:

13 WEEK CONTRACT

Shift needed: 48 hours variable days, including weekends, short call and potential 2 weeks of off shift/night Rotation Possible shift breakdown – but not limited to: 40 hr Rotating 5- 8 hr shifts 4 – 10 hr shifts 2- 8 hr, 2-12hr shifts 48 hr Rotating 4 12 hr Shifts 4 10 hrs, 1 8 hr shift Shift Examples- but not limited to: Days shift example 7a-330p (9a-530p on Wednesdays) 7a-530p 7a-730p start times 7a, 8a or 9a Can consider start week of 4/9 or 4/23 in line with our orientation sessions offered.

Job Title - Certified Surgical Technician (CST)

Responsibilities

Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitors/tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.

Certification and Licenses:

• BLS
• CST

Pay: $71.00 per hour

• Weekend availability
