POSITION SUMMARY: Will assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in accordance with local, state, federal, and company regulations. Duties to include but not limited to: helping patients who are dropping off/picking up prescriptions, enter orders into the computer, create & update insurance information, communicate with insurance carriers to obtain information for payment claims, assist the pharmacist with filling and labeling prescriptions, obtain refill authorizations from prescribers and their agents.

SKILLS/ EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be state certified with the S.C. Board of Pharmacy. Excellent customer service skills required. A minimum of five years’ experience with a retail chain and/or high volume pharmacy strongly preferred.

HOURS: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

LOCATIONS: Bennettsville, SC and Latta, SC

Proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 must be presented prior to beginning work with CareSouth Carolina. Full vaccination is receipt of both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
