Our medical practice is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in primary care, and be able to provide quality patient care and support. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, administering injections and medications, and assisting with minor procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
• Maintain patient records and charts.
• Schedule appointments and maintain patient flow in the clinic.
• Provide patient education on health topics.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
• Prior authorizations
• must have at least one year of recent medical experience!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
• recent medical office: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
