Here at Friends and Family P.A. we've been established for over 2 decades in the Oceanview/Millville area. We are professional, agile, fast-paced, and our goal is to provide an outstanding service to our patients. We are a family practice to over 5000 Patients between Dr. Gallagher and Amanda Marr RNP. We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant with at least 3 years of proven experience. We want this individual to be motivated, professional, fun, and inviting. If you think you're the perfect fit, please submit a resume. Your work schedule would be Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm and you work 1/2 a day from home on Friday's.

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant with strong customer service skills and the ability to be a teachable, responsible, and dependable member of our healthcare team. The right candidate will be responsible for administering routine medical care and ensuring that patients are well-informed about their treatment plans. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Administer routine vaccinations and medications to patients.
• Identify signs and symptoms of disease and injuries and refer patients to a doctor for further treatment when needed.
• Provide support to the physician by collecting and recording patient information.
• Assist clients with administrative tasks and gather information for insurance companies.
• Organize medical records and maintain medical charts.
• Answer telephone calls and direct calls from patients to appropriate personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
