Summary

Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse:

• Administers and documents medications
• Provides treatments to a specified number of residents within the acceptable time frame
• Demonstrates knowledge of medications, actions, dosing, adverse reactions, and contraindications
• Assists Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must meet the training and certification qualifications as specified by the Health Facilities Division of the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals and provide verification of certification
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
• Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Additional Information

Shift: 6a-6p; approx. thirty-six (36) hours/wk

Weekend Package Option: Yes; Sat / Sun / Mon

Base Wage: $18.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.20/per year, up to ten (10) years

2nd / Evening Shift Differential: $0.50/hr

Weekend Package Incentive Pay: $2.00/hr

Sign-On Recruitment Bonus: up to $2,000; paid out over six (6) months
