Private OBGYN practice with three offices located in Little Silver, Colts Neck and Lakewood, NJ.

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our busy and growing practice. The ideal candidate would be a professional, highly motivated, mature, and dependable individual with prior medical assisting experience. Candidate should have an ambitious work ethic, team spirit, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Measure and record vital signs / medical histories
• Assist providers during examinations
• Collect laboratory specimens
• Sterilize medical instruments
• Clean, prepare and stock exam rooms
• Other clinical/clerical duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current / up to date medical assisting certification required
• Previous medical assisting experience or background in general office required
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the importance of patient satisfaction
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Attention to accuracy and details
• Ability to multitask and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Salary commensurate with experience.

COVID-19 considerations:
Masking of staff and patients currently required. Waiting rooms are limited to patients only. Offices are cleaned and disinfected on an ongoing basis.
