Requirements1. Negative TB test2. Active Home Care Aide Registration3. Vaccinated for COVID – 194. reliable transportation
Physical Qualifications
1. Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 4-12 hours per day2. Able to lift 20-30 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting clients with personal care (minor to major assistance in bathing, grooming, dressing, minor light housekeeping) in a safe and beneficial manner in accordance with the care plan
- Transport clients as needed on errands, appointments, and social activities (must possess a valid driver’s license and have current automobile insurance)
- Must be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client
- Ability to meet quality standards of care and follow standard procedures
- Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting, skilled facility or related experience
- Ability to drive clients
