General Description of Position:
This position assists in administering and facilitating tutoring for academic programs, which may include but is not limited to: Insuring students receive quality academic tutoring services and hiring and supervising tutoring activities for the Terre Haute Service Area.

Major Responsibilities:

Hire, train, & supervise part-time employees across the academic disciplines
Maintain work schedule for appropriate tutor coverage as needed
Maintain TracCloud statewide data tracking system
Create staff training modules in IvyLearn
Foster and nurture positive relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
Resolve student anxieties, match students with appropriate tutors, and monitor student progress
Work with VCAA regarding tutoring for students on appeals; track progress
Assist students with troubleshooting Knowledge Assessment technical problems
Collaborate with faculty to arrange class visits, presentations, or workshops
Collaborate with faculty regarding embedded tutoring or other specialized tutoring services
Travel to high schools for dual credit outreach
Monitor payroll budget for tutors and other budgetary processes.
Compile usage and outcomes reports monthly or on demand and present data as needed.
Represent the Terre Haute campus at a statewide level in monthly tutoring meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
A minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects required.
Must possess excellent relationship-building skills including working successfully with diverse populations.
Must possess effective communication skills (phone, email, and written) and experience in public speaking. Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) is required; as well as the ability to learn project-specific software and applications.
Must have a valid driver’s license, the willingness and ability to travel, and work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
Must demonstrate the ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees in which every individual feels respected and valued.

Preferred Qualifications:
Mater's degree would be preferred
