Job description

Candidates will be responsible for safety, environmental, quality, operation, optimization and improvement of production process; including training, supervision and coordination of the activities of varied personnel involved in the daily operations of the plant. Duties may include:

• Ensure safety conditions and behaviors during day to day operations and outages.
• Ensure people have skills needed to perform in a safe and productive manner.
• Participate on safety committees, risk assessment, training, standard work, assist in developing safety programs, monitor plant operations to assist in ensuring safe job performance.
• Participate in near miss and accident investigations.
• Ensure environmental compliance according to state and federal rules and regulations (such as method 22, method 9, etc), reagents availability and proper functionality of environmental control equipment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

• 3-5 years in the operations of a cement plant.

Pay: $75-85K, benefits + Bonus.
