Job Description: Applicant must have a class A CDL license. A CDL Driver may operate single axle, tri-axle, flat beds, low boy, pickup with trailer, and other commercial motor vehicles and miscellaneous equipment.

Drivers may haul equipment between work sites and transport work materials. Prior driving experience is a definite plus. Drivers will also be required to participate with laborer duties. Individuals must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. consistently throughout the work day. Laborer duties are physically demanding and may include unloading & loading materials; traffic control duties, etc. Candidates must have a good driving record and be able to pass a pre employment drug screen. This is a full-time but temporary position for an ongoing project taking place in Tunkhannock, PA. Work will resume Spring 2023 and end approximately Fall 2023.

Essential Functions:

• Provide assistance and support for all aspects of projects.
• Perform manual labor as assigned.
• Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
• Frequently work more than 40 hours per week.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
• Safely transport equipment to construction locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned as needed.

Ability to:

• Learn safety, operations, and equipment.
• Learn and follow HUC company policies and procedures.
• Work in a environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, extreme temperatures and confined spaces.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $35.32 per hour

Experience:

• construction hauling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
