General Description

Greenup Industries is seeking qualified candidates for a CDL (A) or (B) Driver role to a local route from a worksite to a dump site. Please do not apply if you do not have a current CDL (A) or (B) or if you cannot drive a MANUAL TRANSMISSION DUMP TRUCK.

The ideal person for this position will:

• Have a CDL (A) or (B) License

• Experience driving heavy vehicles with manual transmission (REQUIRED)

• Have a Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from work

• Be able to remain Active in a random drug testing policy

• Experience working in the construction environment is preferred

• Have the ability to climb up and down stairs

• Be able to work sitting down for hours on end

• Be able to handle a monotonous driving route

CDL Driver duties will include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

• Safely operate a dump truck

• Transport dirt to and from set route locations safely and consistently

• Stop work, report any near misses/incidents when necessary

• Adhering to a set hauling schedule

• Obey all traffic laws

• Following a set route at all times

• Follow all job site specific driving rules

• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness

• Report any truck issues to the fleet manager
