Job Description:
PURPOSE OF JOB: To perform CT procedures on inpatients, out patients and emergency room patients, utilizing clinical skills, knowledge and competencies of the CT technologist position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains clinical competency in the CT Technologist position requirement
- Provide patient care for all of our customers by performing CT procedures as prescribed by a Physician.
- Compile and maintain patient records and schedules
- Check physician's order and verify what procedure will best help diagnosis the patient.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited program
- CT Registered/CT registry eligible
- All registry eligible associates must become registered within six months
Experience:
- One year experience in the CT field
- Prior experience with the helical scanner preferred
Other Skills:
- Computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills (communication, good listening, negotiating)
- Personal growth
- Current BLS certification
Training time required once hired: 4-6 months.
