Pool Attendant/Cashier

(Season begins early-May to early-September)

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum age 16 years - preferred

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the daily duties of the aquatic center including but not limited to: customer service, cash handling, inventory control, park admissions, class and pass registrations, special events, guest greeter and facility upkeep.

SUPERVISION:

The Seasonal Cashier will report directly to the Pool Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic and ability to work without close supervision. Must possess a sense of pride and accomplishment with ones work.

As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen (including marijuana).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cash handling
• Accurate count of start-up and ending monies
• Accurate change counting
• Accurate sales transactions
• Pass and program registrations
• Input information into system correctly
• Advise on what passes and classes offer
• Communicate with other staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Inventory control
• Complete required inventory sheets
• Facility Upkeep/Operations
• Daily and continuous cleaning of cashier booth, around the facility & lock rooms
• Daily trash removal
• Enforce all rules and regulations with patrons
• Help with daily park operations
• Slide Dispatching
• Greet guests with facility policies and procedures
• Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies
• Any other related duties as assigned by supervisors

COMPENSATION:

Work hours are determined by pool operation hours

STARTING SALARY: $11 /HR
