in personCajun Kitchen Café in Ventura is looking for a new energetic team member to take on the Cashier role and join our Downtown Ventura Team

The schedule for the position is from 9 am until 3 pm Saturday & Sunday, with the possibility of adding more shifts during the week.

The position is for a strong ambitious candidate that is looking for long-term employment with aspirations to develop into a key part of our Ventura team. Development in other roles in the restaurant depends on the progress of the candidate.
Responsibilities of the shift are, but are not limited to:

• Welcome and greet dining guests.
• Navigate and enter orders on our POS systems.
• Clean and buss empty tables.
• Empty and take out trashes.
• Maintain a clean work areas.
• Cash out and take payments.
• Learn & memorize the menu and the restaurant seating arrangement.

Weekends are required and all shifts are during the morning hours. Candidates with availability after 9 am will not be considered for the position.
Experience will be highly preferred but not necessary.

Pay: $15.50 per hour
