The Job at a Glance
The Cash Application Specialist (aka Cash Matchmaker) consists of posting customer payments accurately and in a timely manner. This position includes but is not limited to working with checks, credit cards, and electronics funds transfers. This role also requires account reconciliations, account research and the ability to establish strong relationships with customers. A passion for delighting both internal and external customers is crucial to the success of this role.

A Typical Day
  • Processing various forms of payments from customers.
  • Account reconciliations as needed to ensure the accounting records of Parts Town and our customers are aligned.
  • Work closely with team members to create ways to improve processes for a successful department
  • Solve problems quickly and work with other departments to ensure a resolution is met

To Land This Opportunity
  • You have 1-3 years of cash application experience
  • You are customer-centric and exceptional at making and maintaining relationships
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills
  • You’re a detailed orientated individual who thrives when organized
  • You possess MS Office proficiency (Excel / Word / Outlook)
  • You have outstanding time management in order to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • You function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
  • You’re Self-motivated, with a proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in an evolving work environment
  • Experience with Syspro or other ERP software preferred, but not required
