The 3PL Solutions Division provides end-to-end supply chain solutions for our customers across a variety of modes including bulk trucking for both plastics and liquid chemicals, dry-vans, rail, ocean, intermodal and 3/4PL Inventory control. We are both asset and non-asset based logistic service providers.

As the Carrier Development Manager you will be responsible for building and strengthening the pipeline of carriers to support Quantix's 3PL business across all modes, including dry bulk pneumatic trucks, liquid bulk, dry van, and drayage.

You will work closely with the leadership team to identify top priority geographic areas to target carrier development.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and manage new and existing carrier relationships
  • Cultivate growth in carrier base through research and prospecting Build strong relationships with trucking company key contacts (owner ops, dispatchers)
  • Maintain constant contact with new carriers to understand trucking company's capabilities and manage existing business arrangements
  • Participate in continued education: Team, Business, Market, and Industry
  • Help educate and train new carriers on our billing processes and technology platform
  • Develop and grow core/key carriers to provide additional capacity
  • Serve as a partner to our operations and sales teams, anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support business objectives.
  • Provide carrier feedback to operations ; Account Managers to continuously improve our core technology for sourcing capacity and meet the needs of carriers and customers.
  • Communicate existing or potential service problems to the account managers and Director of Customer Success.
  • Generate leads, attract new prospective carriers, and develop sales pipeline.
  • Identify and select reputable and safe carriers for freight services.
  • Act as a facilitator for carrier problem resolution regarding claims, payments, or other business issues
  • Monitor carriers KPI and metrics to ensure that company and customer service requirements are being met

  • Maintain current knowledge of market trends in transportation marketplace.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent direct experience.
  • Transportation/logistics/brokerage experience is required
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Comfortable with pricing, quoting and cost validation.
  • Sales/Entrepreneur mindset eager to scale self-income Travel up to 80%
